Brigstowe have been delivering specialist HIV services in Bristol for nearly 30 years, and we don’t want to stop now.
We need your support to ensure people living with HIV can access the help and support they need. Giving regularly, fundraising or sponsoring our work means we can carry on working to achieve our vision: a world in which people living with HIV and other long-term conditions live long, healthy lives, free from stigma, discrimination and poverty.
We always welcome donations, be it one-off payments or regular transfers. Your cash will go towards helping some of our most marginalised clients.
- £63 could support one of our migrant clients for a week
- £100 could pay for five counselling sessions for someone who is newly diagnosed with HIV
- £250 could fund a wellbeing event
- £3,000 could fund the cost of interpreters and translators for a whole year

Become a Friend of Brigstowe

Being a Friend of Brigstowe means giving a regular monthly donation of your choice.
Monthly giving enables you to spread your donation throughout the year. This is funding we can count on and plan for, allowing us to make long-term commitments. The admin costs to set up this donation are also lower, which means more of your money goes directly to Brigstowe.
As a friend you will receive our newsletters and invitations to Brigstowe events.

Payroll Giving
If your employer uses the CAF (Charity Aid Foundation) or a similar platform, then why not choose Brigstowe as your nominated charity?
With payroll giving (or workplace giving), you’re providing Brigstowe with regular income, to allow us to plan and budget for the future.
Donations are taken before tax, which means we get more of your donation and it costs you less.
Your donation is calculated after your National Insurance contribution but before Income Tax is deducted; this means part of your donation comes from money that would otherwise have been taken by HMRC.
Legacy Gift
In 2022/23, legacy income reached an all-time high of an estimated £4.0 billion, and it is projected to continue growing.
Leaving a gift in your will can help ensure better futures for people living with HIV. You can do this by leaving a financial donation, part of your estate, or a physical gift. Once you have provided for your family and friends, a gift to Brigstowe will make a lasting difference for generations to come.
